I'm just finishing up my application, and I noticed on the last page (where you can check off other scholarships that apply to you) there's a scholarship for people who intend to major in dance, library science or English. UCLA doesn't have a library science degree for undergrads, but that's what I eventually want to get my master's in... can I check this box and maybe just write "grad degree" off to the side? I know it's a long shot, but since library science is kind of obscure I thought that I might have a chance at this scholarship even if I don't win an Alumni one.

bump... anyone know?

I would just check it. If you aren't eligible, then you aren't. Wouldn't hurt.

I was just contacted by the alumni scholarship association and they told me that my interview went well and I'm being awarded with the $4,000 Scholarship. I was just wondering how the whole finals competition goes and who gets invited to compete in it, and also do UCLA alumni scholars get any benefits on campus liek housing or parking or anything like that?
