At my school, I was awarded credit for the 2-semester basic University Writing sequence by my SAT score, but not through my AP score. The credit counts toward graduation and shows up on my transcript exactly the same as the credit I earned through AP exams...does anybody know if the schools that will accept AP credit for the English requirement will also accept my credit?

No Medical schools will accept AP credit.

Some medical schools do accept AP credit, but unfortunately not all do. Since you will have to apply broadly when the time comes (because everybody does), you should behave as if no medical schools will accept AP credit.

Not true. As BDM said, some do.

In most cases for the Med school to accept AP credit it must be reflected on the university transcript showing the college course (by number and or name) it replaced.

And in any case, it would be in your best interests to take a higher level class (and get an A in it) instead of just taking the class your AP credit would have placed you out of.
