Question About Appeals

How exactly are we supposed to format our envelope with the teacher recs? Are we supposed to have all of them sealed in envelopes and placed in one big one? Or do we have the teacher send theirs in separately?
How many people here are going to appeal?
I made the mistake of applying to biological sciences :(

I applied last year and got rejected, but I appealed and got in. I am also a biological sciences major. When I sent in my letter of recommendations, I just had separate envelopes for each letter and then put them all together in one big envelope. I think that worked out okay because I got in.

oh! i left you a message on your page. what did you mention in your appeal? and do you think that it matters how quickly you do appeal?

I chose financial hardship as the reason for why I had to attend Davis. I wrote about how my dad recently had surgery and he needed me to stay close to home (Davis is two hours away for me) so I could go back home if he needed me. Plus, he's umemployed and my mom lives half an hour away from Davis (my parents are separated). I also wrote a little bit glorifying myself as a student (I got a 4.4 GPA during my first semester of senior year). Yeah, that's pretty much it because I only had 350 words to work with. I don't think it matters how quickly you send in your appeal, but of course, the sooner the better. I sent it in a week before it was due, just in case.

I'd recommend submitting all materials together. We don't have a preference on how letters are received, in sealed envelops or not, as long as they have the students name and Student ID (SID) number on each page.
