I submitted my u roch application a few weeks ago b4 jan 1st. On my student account on the rochester website, it says that my applications is not yet complete. It says that I have turned in everything except for the midyear report and I have green checkmarks all of the requirements except for the midyear report as well. Is my application not yet complete because of the midyear report?

is there something wrong with my applicaton status or is this normal?

I assume this is normal. My application is “incomplete” for the same reason, but as long as everything else is in, I think you’re (or we’re) fine.
For most schools, the semester has just ended or has yet to end. They don’t expect the midyear report to come in until later (as it says on the page of my student account, they want it no later than March 1), so as of now, our apps are “complete” in the sense that everything we can turn in has been turned in.

Yes you are both fine. The same is true for my son, and that is what UofR told us.

I did, however, confirm with his HS that the mid-year reports are sent automatically. You should confirm that with your HS, just in case they need a kick in the pants.

Just to confirm, we will read applications and make decisions without the midyear report. We do require the midyear report and will use them to confirm our decisions or re-evaluate an application if need be. Most midyear reports are sent to us throughout the latter half of January and the month of February.
