I have handed in everything except for the Mid-Year Report, which is said to be submitted no later than March. Yet my application status is still "Not Yet Complete." Does the admissions department acknowledge this as completed?
Also, how do I know that my CSS profile was received?

CLN592… Your MyRoc account should include a list of the items that we have and have not recieved. Keep in mind, it takes up to two weeks to process a document, so items submitted within the last two weeks (maybe three given the holiday) may not be processed. When in doubt, call the office - we’d be happy to help you out.

Thank you MConklin! My MyRoc account says everything else is submitted, except for that Mid-Year Report. I applied ED, so I’m hoping it isn’t required yet. Obviously it’s a little late to be asking that question, but I’ve called the office before and everything seemed fine, but the remaining “Not Yet Complete” label on my MyRoc account is just concerning. Thanks again!

I see… The mid-year report is rarely available before late January or early February. Just submit it as it becomes available to you. We still review applications and will make preliminary decisions without it, but we will want to see it before all is said and done.

As always, don’t ever hesitate to send me your questions, thoughts, or concerns!

That makes more sense… but how does Rochester accept ED applicants without the mid-year report? Are all Early Decision ‘acceptances’ really pre-lim decisions? Thank you again for clarifying. It’s greatly appreciated that an actual admissions representative is so frequently on CC.

You are welcome, CLN592… We typically use the mid-year report to reaffirm or raise concerns about our initial decisions. I will make a decision to admit a student without the mid-year report, but if that student recieves his/her admit letter and proceeds to take the rest of his/her senior year off, so to speak, I do reserve the right to revoke an offer of admission. THIS RARELY HAPPENS, but, if an A student is admitted ED and the mid-year or final-year reports reflect all D’s, a long discussion with that student will have to take place. In most cases, though, an A-B student will continue to be an A-B student, and the mid-year report will reflet that.

I hope this answers your question!
