Question about Applying Freshman Requirements

Freshman Requirements :: Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Admissions
It says that 4 years of math is required...but does 4 year-long math course work too?
I took Geometry freshman year, Algebra II sophomore year, and I took both Precalc and AP Stats junior year. Now I am a senior and I am not taking a math course. Is this fine?

What you describe is 4 years of math, so you’re fine in that respect.

IMHO choosing to go without math your senior year when the alternative would have been to take Calc was maybe not the best choice for someone who wants to be a STEM major.

The RPI AO does look at senior course load (not sure about grades) and it might look odd if you’re not taking math…unless you have something intensive to fill in the void. What they don’t like are seniors that decide to ‘chill’ and drop all their advanced classes and take a few electives, leaving the rest of the day with lunch/free periods.
But yes, you do meet the minimum requirements of credits.
