I am currently in high school and wonder if I can do this. There is a community college near me that offers an audio engineering program for about 2 years and I want to do that. After that, I want to transfer to UM Frost School of Music and study Jazz Trumpet Performance. Is this normal? I don’t know that much about colleges honestly. All I really cared about in high school was music and still do. No teacher ever discussed about college application during my high school career. Also, I live in Miami.
I have a friend who’s going to community college in FL for two years then planning to go to UM, so you should be able to do it.
