So, can anyone give me a description about what to expect from each dorm? I don’t mean the look or style, but more of the people/what happens in each one.

Thanks.

The overall consensus is that Segundo is superior to all three dorms.

I actually like Cuarto because the quad style offers a community bathroom that is shared by only a couple rooms instead of the floor shared bathrooms in the other two dorms. I live in Tercero and I like it though because

all that matters, regardless of what dorm you live in, are the people.

but i live in segundo and i love it because my classes are all less than 10 minutes away on foot :D

but, i have friends in both tercero and cuarto, and they always come over here to hang out, except for sometimes when we go to tercero bc theres a pool table…

Cuarto’s dining commons is getting a huge remodel right now. It will be ready for next year’s incoming class. I imagine it will be very nice. :)

My s is in Tercero and he is very happy there.

mmmm i heard that cuarto’s oxford DC will not open until winter of next year^
the castilian DC in cuarto will remain open, but its normal schedule is to close on the weekends.

both the segundo and tercero DC’s are very nice. they were both recently remodeled. (2005ish) [Tercero Dining Commons - Davis Wiki](http://daviswiki.org/Tercero_Dining_Commons)

I guess they got behind schedule, typical… lol. I know a gal who works for the architecture firm doing the remodel.
