Question about Emory supplement!

Should you talk more about Emory/Oxford College in general or about Emory/Oxford specific to your major?

I'm applying as an Interdisciplinary Studies in Culture and Society major

None of us can tell you, because the truth is, it depends (also none of us work for admissions). What you want to show in your essays is how you’ll contribute to Emory, and how Emory will help you become a better person. Make sure your essay shows you’ve done some research on the school, maybe talk about a professor in your intended department or things you’ve done that can help the Emory community. Just make sure your essays are well written and non generic. Emory wants you to want them so they can want you (if that makes sense).

IDS is one of my majors. If you’re going to talk about your interest in the major in your , you might want to send me a PM to make sure you have a firm grasp on the program and don’t have anything incorrect in your essay. I say this because IDS is one of the hardest majors to find information about online, so it’s easy to get something embarrassingly wrong in your essay.
