Question about FAFSA Signatures

I signed up for a pin, but I still haven't received it. And I didn't even know parents had to have one too. Anyway, our deadline for the FAFSA for one school is tomorrow. Is it possible that when I send in the FAFSA electronically, that would that count as making the deadline even if the signatures would get there later because I would have to send them through regular mail?

I don't know the answer to your question, but I do know that when my son and I got our PINs, they were sent immediately. So you might not even have a problem. Try to get your family PIN now, and you may have it in time.
Good luck.

You we need PINs from both partents or just one?

^ i have the same question as Jaina. I just had my mom apply for a pin a couple minutes ago. Will that be enough or will I have to have my dad apply for a pin too?

one parent's pin will do your job......

I signed up for a pin 2 days ago and got it today. Last year a friend didn't get hers for a week so she printed out the signature page and sent the signature through the regular mail.
