So I'm currently taking a six hour Italian class. I am a Communications student and need to fufill my four semesters of foreign language. I see only two Italian classes in the sequence. Will these two classes be enough to complete my foreign language requirement?

Intensive language class means that you have 6 hours per week for 2 semesters to cover material that in regular class is learned 5 hours per week first year and 4 hours per week 2nd year.

If you check some other foreign languages that have both intensive and regular classes you can see that intensive 1 year course uses textbooks for 2 years of regular course.
