<p>A friend and I have filled out apps for housing, and we've done everything exactly the same to ensure that we'll room together.</p>
<p>We filled out hall preferences the same, same lifestyle preferences, same everything. We've entered each other's SID's, and requested one another as roommates. </p>
<p>However, on my Manage Roommates page, theres a green bar saying 53% next to my request to room with him. Is this showing our chances of getting our preferences for next year? Why so "low"? </p>
<p>Could it be perhaps we chose doubles for all our choices? Please, anybody with experience, help us out.</p>

<p>generally, everyone gets who they requested. they might place you both together in a triple instead of a double though</p>
<p>Last year (I am a current freshman) we never had any bar like that. Generally everyone gets who they requested as long as they filled in forms right. You may both end up in a Triple (with a third person randomly thrown in), though, but you should still get each other.</p>
<p>Also I hope by “chose doubles for all our choices” you did put the last one as ‘any size anywhere’ or you may not get housing (:</p>

<p>u must have really good friends. i cant imagine sharing a dorm with anyone i know or go to school with!</p>
