I have taken the SAT twice, with scores of 610 -> 670 CR, 790 -> 700 M, and 650 -> 680 W. I have also taken the ACT, with a 33 composite (35 E, 33 M, 30 R, 32 S). I heard that GTech only looks at SAT CR+M and ACT E+M, and additionally they superscore between tests. Therefore, is it true that they would essentially be looking at a SAT 790 M + ACT 35 E?

They also are going to look at your SAT writing or your ACT combined English/writing score.

Yes, GT would convert your scores to a 790 verbal and a 790 math. My son got a 35 in act English and they converted it to a 790 verbal.

@MichiganGeorgia @Panthergirl Okay thanks

Is it true Ga Tech doesn’t look at the ACT Reading and ACT Science scores?

@MalvernAve From what I’ve seen on the internet and heard from others, yes it’s true they don’t look at the ACT Reading and ACT Science scores.

They just take ACT Writing, Math and Combined Writing score. Reading and science are not used.
