Question about Huntsman Admissions

High school junior here, starting to finalize my list to visit/apply to schools next year, and Penn will be my ultimate reach school mainly because of the Huntsman program. It's pretty much my dream program at my dream school.

My question is whether this could give me an edge in getting accepted: I grew up as an American expat and lived for a decade in another country starting at age 3. While there, my family was fortunate enough to have the chance to visit multiple countries in Southeast Asia. Since the Huntsman program is international business, will this give me a slight advantage?

The rest of my application is pretty average/weak for Penn, especially my ECs as my school is so small it doesn't offer much of anything in the ways of clubs and APs

Less than 50 are chosen, half men and half women. Also, about half are internationals. Math SAT score is important and so is the Math 2 Subject Test. (seems that average for Huntsman is well above 650 for both). Strong ECs, leadership and demonstrated initiative is important. Most of the applicants have numerous AP classes, above 4.0 GPA, and overall strong SAT/ACT scores. Recs and essays and the interview are also important. Be sure to show what you are passionate about in essays. Good luck!

With specific programs like Huntsman, you can’t really ‘chance’ someone. I got in ED but I still can’t really tell you if you can get in or not.
Good luck!
