After doing some extensive research, I finally discovered that, while UC Davis does not accept AP credit to satisfy their own GE program, they allow AP credit to fulfill sections of IGETC. While Irvine does not seem to mention this topic in their catalog, it seems to me that they would operate under a similar policy. Can anyone confirm or dis-confirm the validity of my assumption? Can AP credits be used to satisfy IGETC at my community college before my hypothetical transfer to UCI (I'll be a high school senior this year so this is all somewhat hypothetical). Thank you.

How about now?

Yes, scores of 3 and above will satisfy some IGETC, except you need a 4 or 5 for AP English (Lang and Lit) to satisfy the UC English requirements.

Thank you for the response! Are those the only exams that require a 4 or higher? And do you know if this policy applies to all UC’s?
