Question about major in admissions.

I am interested in majoring in both Economics and Philosophy at almost any school I attend. Will any of the schools I list below hold me to Philosophy or hinder my enrollment in Econ classes if Philosophy is the major I put on my application.

Harvard, Yale, Williams, Swarthmore, Pomona, Stanford, Uchicago.

The last time I checked, you can list both for any colleges that use the Common App (there are two spaces.)

That would mean that Yale, Stanford, and (the last time I checked) Harvard would allow you to put both.

Remember though that a good majority of applications don't make you declare your major on the application. It's just to see what you might declare if you enroll. The only time I know where your acceptance might be at jeopardy is if you apply as an engineering major as opposed to something like an English major because the standards are much higher and you usually apply to a completely different school in the first place.
