question about major in dramatic writing.

If you are in Tisch with a major in Dramatic Writing, how can you take more classes that apply to filmmaking as well...as opposed to just writing? I know that there are 12 credits in production, but that doesn't seem like enough to give someone an adequate knowledge in the field.

there are open arts courses that anyone can take:

There arent gonna be too many, but you gotta keep in mind that you're going for Dramatic Writing, not filmmaking. If you really wanna study it in depth your best shot would be to apply to film/tv as a second major. I believe thats one of the few double majors you can have within Tisch.
