question about my chances.

<p>Firstly, thank you for the time I am just curious as to how the adcoms will judge my chances as a transfer to lsa. Currently I am in CC with a gpa of 3.989 with a total credit count of 64. The only problem I can foresee is during my freshmen year of college I failed 4 classes total. I took a year off of school, got my head on straight and since then have obtained the previously denounced gpa. My question is do I even have a chance with this track record? If it matters I am 22 years old and will be 23 when fall comes back around.</p>

<p>-I have retaken the classes failed so the gpa calculation has changed to the higher one.</p>

<p>You’ll have a solid chance if (1) transcript doesn’t show those early 4 fails, or (2) you can explain away some special circumstances during that one bad term in one of your essays.</p>

<p>Don’t forget that EC activities and/or work, etc play a part in getting admitted too, as well as just CC grades.</p>

<p>Thank you for the input and that is what I am hoping. My EC’s and work experience are the one thing that stands out the most so I am hopeful it will help copious amounts.</p>
