So, I'm a sophomore. I play volleyball, and made this program called High performance A1, and it's basically the national team training program. Only the top 40 players in the country made it last year, and this is the second year in a row that i've made this. I was wondering if this was the sort of extracurricular activity that Stanford looks for.
Right now i have a 3.9 gpa, and I haven't taken the SAT's yet.

Do you guys think I've got a shot?

If you need more information, don't be afraid to ask, this is the first time i've done this.

Oh yeah I forgot about my other activities:
I was captain of volleyball on my high school team
I was captain of jv soccer
I’ve played trumpet for a few years, but I’m only on the school jazz band. I haven’t really won anything because of it.

You qualify (although you didn’t take the SATs yet but I’m assuming you’ll do well). End of story. The rest depends your essays, recs, ECs (the volleyball seems pretty good, assuming you’ve been doing it for a long time) and praying that when an admissions officer is looking at your file that his/her cat didn’t die that morning :D
