Question about 'myBerkeleyApplication' Forms

Hi all, hope everyones holidays were fun. Just had some questions about the account im holding in Berkeley which will give me updates on my app. Before those questions lemme give you some background info. There's a section in the site, right after I log on, that is asking of four forms from me. Now one is asking to put the grade letters (not the classes just letters or scores) onto a table and add all the letters up. The next one is asking for major prereqs and my CCC equivalents. The third is asking Breadth requirements. The last one does not ask me anything but tells me that once I notify the "Pathways Application Update Form or (WIP)" will be sent to Berkeley once I complete it. Here are my questions:

1) Is it too early to start on those forms now?
2)My CCC does not include A+ as the highest grade (Only A's), and yet the form has that available. Should I just put A's and include that my CCC does not implement pluses and minuses to their system?
3) I have all the prereqs completed which are available at my school. One of the prereqs is not articulated but I am taking a similar (almost identical IMO) course, should I (a)talk to a counselor at my CCC first, or (b) assume that course does articulate the prereq although assist says there isn't any?
4) Are these forms that Cal is asking of me supposed to be a sub for the actual paper transcripts I am to send later on? Or should I send those in conjunction to each other (ie do these online forms first, then send paper transcript, or vice versa?).

Thanks in advance for the help peeps, I thought the UC app was all there is too it.

1) It's never too early, as long as you have all the info they're looking for.
2) My advice would be not to worry about the comment. I think that a lot of schools don't use +/- distinctions, and I would say that goes without saying. Others may wish to weigh in.
3) I would assume that it will not articulate. Your prospective department probably has some obtuse but very significant reason for not considering your course applicable. Personally, I would take the course and say something like "Though there is no class to satisfy requirement, I've registered to take _thiscourse at my college in order to best prepare myself for the major." You might not even include the comment, and of course you might talk to your counselor about it.
4) No, your paper transcripts are the final check to make sure you haven't lied about your grades. They're asking you to complete these forms to help save them work in processing your application. They want to have to do as little work as possible, because they've got tens of thousands of applications to go through. Once they've narrowed that down to a few thousand acceptances, then they can actually take the time to manually parse your transcripts. You'll send them in when you're accepted.

Hope this helps, and thanks for tipping me off to myBerkeleyApplication being available. (;
