Question about New Jersey new driver road test

NJ takes their road tests on real roads

Old thread is old

lol. I still want to post on this anyways…

In SC, you get your permit at 15. Then you wait six months to take the road test. If you’re 15 or 16, you have to take 14 hours of driver’s ed (8 class 6 driving). If you’re 17 or up you don’t, but you still have to wait the six months.

And then once you’ve held your restricted for a year or you turn 17 you get your full, complete license.

Heh. I was so nervous when I took mine and the lady tried to fail me by taking me on a different route. XD

jersey and new york = best drivers in the country

other people just dont know how to drive, i mean everyone knows 45 means 90…

jersey we go hard ;)

new york is the best place. other drivers are like turtles.

but yeah you get ur permit at 16 . you wait six months and then take your 5 hour and your roadt test and then you get ur junior license. you get ur senior license at 18 unless you take drivers ed. then u’d get ur senior license at 17.

well i am completely screwed up. I failed my test twice in New Jersey. First time, I did everything good, but i was driving too slow at the main road and failed. Second time, i touched the cone while parking. I practiced so much. I was driving so confidently before the test and I did parallel park so well. But due to rain and snow today, I couldn’t see the cone and just touched it. I am really tensed. If i don’t pass this time, then have to wait for 6 mths. Have test on 29th Apr 2011. Any advice?

^Where did you take it? Mine was on a closed course, but I failed the first time, too. I passed about a month ago after practicing parking with a paid instructor.

I took at Canfield avenue, route 10 DMV , Morris county
