<p>I want to go to the technical college locally (which is where I was at 2 years ago) for the summer term just to take 3 basic courses that I know will transfer to my new school.
The summer term at the tech school technically ends on August 11. The fall term at the new school starts on August 8. Would this totally screw up my financial aid since for a few days I would technically be at both schools? This would just save me a full term of classes and at 30 years old thats kind of a big deal to me. :)</p>

<p>You need to ask both of these institutions to find out if it is possible.</p>
<p>Thank you happy mom. I will talk to both of the schools as well as call the fafsa number and see if they can help me. I need the financial aid so I can’t afford to make a mistake. Sure would be nice to get those classes done in the short summer term.</p>
<p>This summer can be assigned to 2010-2011 or to 2011-2012. You may need to use two different “years” in order to make your aid work out. Don’t forget to ask about that as well.</p>
