Question about Pass/No Pass

<p>I'm taking a Life Science Lab GE class P/NP right now. However, I'm applying to the Film major, and under the TFT school's specific GE requirements, it says that 2 science courses are required. On the UCLA website, it says "Preparation for the major cannot be taken P/NP"...but does a GE count as preparation for the major?</p>

<p>GEs can actually double as major prep. Additionally I would never suggest you take a class P/NP if you can avoid it.</p>
