<p>I'm majoring in accounting, so obviously I'm gonna take the mathematics placement exam, but does that mean I it's pointless for me to take the chemistry one? I'd assume so but I just want to make sure.</p>
<p>if you don’t plan on taking chemistry I believe there is no need. Only needed if you plan to register for Chem.</p>
<p>I’m a journalism major and was still required to take both placement exams. It doesn’t hurt to take it and it’ll be one less hassle at preview if you do end up needing it.</p>
<p>The chemistry exam is VERY easy, so you should take it, just in case you need it later. Most of the concepts needed are pretty basic. I took it last year, and got every question correct except for the 1 I skipped. And this is coming from a guy who bombed (but still passed) Chem 1 & 2. :P</p>
