I'm applying to the pharmacy pre-admit program and on the commonapp, it says if you are applying to a pre-admit then your 2nd supplemental essay has to be based on the pre-admit program. I was wondering, can I be accepted to U of M and still not be accepted to the pre-admit? Or are they going to just base me around the pre-admit programs and accept/deny me?

yes, that’s how it works. they accept you to the school first, and only after that would the school of pharmacy look at your preferred admission application. otherwise i think they’d probably lose a huge amount of competitive applicants, at least from the business school perspective, if they straight denied you based on your PA application first since so many quality students are rejected from the business school as preferred admits.
