I understand that for pharmacy you have the option of applying to Pharm school after only 2 yrs of undergraduate studies (pre-requisites). However, is that a good thing to do? I'm really interested in pursuing pharmacy after high school, but I'm worried that rushing through the undergrad requirements through only 2 years won't be enough to beat out other applicants to Pharm school, especially if they have 4 yrs + a Bachelor's degree under their belt.

You could try getting into one of the 0-6 pharmacy programs. If you get into that you won’t have to worry about beating out anyone.

Yes, but there aren’t too many of those 0-6 programs, and I’m not particularly interested in the few schools that offer it (I really wanna go to UT Austin, which doesn’t offer a 0-6 program).

It depends on how sure you are of pursuing pharmacy. If there is SOME amount, even the slightest bit, of doubt… then don’t do a 0-6 program. Major in whatever it is that you like. Perhaps your interests will change and may see some different options.
