<p>I was wondering, I don't think my counselors sent out my teacher recommendations with my application. Should I ask if I can have them sent, perhaps for any additional merit aid?</p>

<p>greentea if probably right. Merit aid is largely stat driven, I believe. Now if you are borderline between getting some or not, or between two levels of awards, maybe EC’s and excellent recs can help sway the decision. Otherwise I think they go by SAT/ACT scores and Grades/Class Rank.</p>
