Question about SAT / ACT Submitting

I took the ACT and found out today I got a 35. I also took the SAT and have a score of 2250. I prefer the ACT score and I only want colleges to see it, is there any way any colleges at all will require me to show it to them if I am only submitting my ACT score? I will also be submitting subject tests through CollegeBoard but the ACT through the ACT organization.

Congrats! You’re overthinking this. You want to omit your 2290 b/c you falsely think it detracts from your 35. It doesn’t. Whatever schools eventually may reject you, it won’t be because of your test scores. You’re absolutely fine, score wise, for any college extant. GL with your subj tests.

There are very few colleges and universities that require applicants to submit all scores from all standardized testing, and they’re very selective.

In most cases, you can just send your ACT scores, as you wish to do. But T26E4 is correct (as he usually is) that even at those fancy-pants institutions that require you to send all your scores, your SAT score isn’t going to make any trouble for you.
