I just got my Student Answer Service in the mail today. To my surprise it said that I omitted a question on the math portion. Why did this surprise me? Because I got a 780 on my last SAT Math and the question it said I omitted was a Level 1! I don't see any reason why I would have omitted a level 1. Is there a way I can get my test regraded by hand, in case the machine didn't read my bubble?

I have heard of people having their tests rescored, but I don't know the process of how to accomplish that.

I know that if I had a 780 on a section of the SAT, I would be really happy. I know that it would also be really cool to have a perfect, but is it really THAT important? I know that to have the test regraded by hand it costs money, so would it be worth it? I don't think anyone can really convince you which way to go, but if it was my decision, I'd save the money and get a cheeseburger! lol...If you want to get it regraded by hand, go to the collegeboard site and there should be something on the site to have that arranged.

Yes, you can get someone to score it by hand. All I know about hand-scoring is that it costs about $50 (ridiculous, I know) and you need to contact the College Board to arrange the service.

Im sorry I didnt make it very clear. I got a 780 on my math section from the march test. The June Test i got a 760 because I missed one and supposedly omitted a level one math question. I just didnt want a drop in my score from a later test. Even if I do get it regraded and it does change my score, i know that my score will not increase any more than a 780, but i do not want a drop in my score
