I am about to be a sophomore in high school. When I was in 7th grade I got a letter in the mail from Duke TIP to take the SAT. When I took it I got a 1300/2400. My counselor said, "It was the equivalent of a 7th grade baseball player playing on varsity and being average." My question is I want to get that score higher(obviously) and I was wondering does that count as my true first SAT test or not(because someone at Harvard said they do not like people who take the SAT more than three times)? And will it be impressive to but on a college resume I was recruited into the Duke TIP program?

Did the same with ACT, just not TIP. Nothing with matter until 9th grade.

It won’t count as the first time you took the test. You probably wont be able to access the scores in high school. Not sure about your second question.

It doesn’t matter, and doesn’t even show up on your account. I took the SAT in 7th and 8th grade with the Johns Hopkins Talent Search program (scored a 1700 by the way). I can’t even access my scores on collegeboard, and colleges will never see them, or even know that you took them.
