Question about schedule

Hi, I'm a new transfer student at UCLA majoring in History. For my first Fall quarter, I was thinking of taking 4 classes for a grand total of 17 units. Since this is my first time at UCLA, I don't know how difficult classes usually are. Could someone please tell me if this schedule is alright or too heavy? Maybe if you recognize some one of these professors, you could tell me something about him or her. Thank you.

Hist 97G, Environmental History of Modern Japan, Vanderbilt, 4 units
Hist 127B, Imperial Russia, Frank, 4 units
Hist 121A, History of Modern Europe, Sabean, 4 units
Anthro 7, Human Evolution, Silk, 5 units

Total: 17 units

i'm not a transfer myself so i can't say for sure, but from my transfer friends, most of them say they had to put some effort into adjusting to UCLA at first since it was much more rigorous than their CC, but they eventually got it down.

4 classes and 17 units isn't too bad for an upperclassmen. if you're confident, go for it and drop someone before the end of week 2 if you feel overwhelmed (or a need to party). otherwise try 3 classes for your first quarter and then bump it up to 4 next quarter on.
