Hey there,
So I have applications due next week and it just occurred to me that I never sent my AP scores to any of my colleges. I also (stupidly) clicked "no" on the common app when it asked if I would like to self-report test scores, because I was sending all my colleges official reports of my ACT scores. I took three AP tests last spring ( AP Calc AB - 5, AP Bio -5, and AP World History -4) and was happy with my scores, so I really wanted those to be considered in admission. Now I'm afraid it will look like I completely flunked them and tried to cover it up by not submitting these scores...HELP? I was so proud of that 5 in AP Bio...

You just reminded me I never sent mine either… do colleges have a strict deadline for this sort of thing? For Ivies is it important to get AP scores reported stat?

For admissions purposes, AP scores are self-reported only. An AP Score Report is only sent to the school where you matriculate for AP credit and placement purposes.

My S’s GC mentioned S’s AP scores in the letter of rec and it may have been recorded on the HS transcripts and sent in. After he had been accepted and sent in his deposit, then he had all his official AP scores sent to that U.
