If a school requires you send all scores and I have taken the SAT once but did not do well, and then I took the ACT and did well...do I still have to send my SAT? I know this sounds confusing/weird...but I am a little confused. Because I do not want my low SAT to affect my chances of admission especially since I did not do well on it as compared to my ACT.

Thank you for your responses!

Generally, you can just send the ACT, but check the school’s website to be certain.

Okay, thank you. Yes I was just wondering because they say “send all your scores” but then I know this sounds wrong to ask…but how would they know I even took the SAT unless I send it? Right?

Stanford’s web site is about the most clear:
If the school requires ALL scores then you should send ALL scores. If they find later that you did not you can be rescinded or thrown out.
