Question about senior year math class to get into VT

I had originally signed up for pre-calculus/trig as my 4th math class in high school, but now I have the opportunity to dual enroll and take statistics at the local community college instead. I’ve heard college admission offices like to see dual enrollment, but then I won’t be taking pre calc at all in high school. I have taken algebra, algebra 2, and geometry and gotten A’s in all of those, honors classes. Do you think taking Stats instead would help or hurt my chances for VT or not affect them either way? I have a 4.4 weighted GPA and a 1280 SAT, out of state student, and lots of EC. I will be enrolling as a psychology major, not engineering or business, or computer, or anything like that.
