Question about spring admit transfer

Lets say you take classes at the local community college in the fall and happen to get a bad grade. Can you still get rescinded?

Don’t report it! Forfeit your first semester, it’s not worth the risk. What will it cost, under $5,000? Should you blow it, lie low and enroll at USC. Better yet, if you really think you’ll get a C, don’t go to a CC (they’re all a joke anyway), play video games instead. Or hit USC football games and have FUN!

It’s probably best to get advice directly from admissions officers rather than disgruntled alums with no real knowledge of how decisions are made…

Agreed, also, if you don’t need to enroll at a CC, don’t do it because when you apply to grad schools you’ll need to list and provide the transcripts of all colleges attended and you don’t need the hassle and problems if you get ONE lousy grade. You don’t want to complicate your USC transcript with a CC transcript, or any other college transcript for that matter. I took ONE CC course during the summer and it became a pain during the law school application process.

Your more productive options include:

Becoming adept at PS4 or X-Box games; hitting every USC home football game; traveling cross country; running a 5k; learning Chinese via Rosetta stone; reading Tolstoy’s War and Peace (I’ve read it); watching every single newly released film; and sleeping till 10 a.m. daily and playing with your dog! Enjoy what will be your last time of freedom…or you can make some additional cash working.
