<p>Hi I am really worried about my college chances right now and I am in a dilemma. I always wanted to goto Stern. However, 5 students were selected ED from my school. COnsidering that Stern's freshman class is approximatelty 500 people. Would I stand a chance considering 1% of its class was already filled by my school?</p>

<p>Does anyone know how NYU and Stern admissions work? I am wondering if they just accept you based on numbers or they look at you compared to your high school</p>
<p>NYU doesnt have quotas- they took 11 out of 13 at my school early decision, and last year they took about 25 overall. if youre qualified, they'll take you. The only advantage there is to applying early is that there is obviously a much smaller pool of applicants, so it's easier to stand out.</p>
<p>I know CAS is like that, but is Stern?</p>
