I have a couple of questions actually

I've completed all my IGETC TAG requirements for UCSD HOWEVER both the majors I put down on the application are majors I haven't completed more than 1/2 the prerequisites for (both the majors were bio related)- in hindsight, not such a good idea. My question is since I TAG'd do I get into the school & they'll ask me to change my major?, or will they accepted me & it'll take me an additional year, or will they reject me?

& does anyone know who to contact if I'd like to change majors- before actually going to the school in the Fall?

&&& last but not least, do we need to let anyone know if the classes we put as "planning on taking" changes... if yes, who?

x.x Any information is greatly appreciated

If you’re planning on transferring in the fall and you did not complete your prerequisites for the major you applied for, your TAG will be rejected, no question about it. It would’ve been better to finish your prereqs over your IGETC. They won’t ask you to change your major, that was your job to begin with. They just look it over and accept/reject you. If you’ve completed the prereqs for a different major, I’d call them and ask them to change it on your TAG as well as UC app so you have a better chance. But, one of the requirements for TAG is that you complete all the prereqs for the major you’re applying for.

To change majors, contact the admissions office of the individual UC.

And you’re supposed to change those in the UC app in January, but if they change after that, you’ll have to speak directly to someone in the admissions office and have them make the change there.
