hey guys..im a little confused with the whole tag process. for schools like ucsb, ucsd, and ucd, if you dont finish the required pre-req's for a specific major, do you automatically get rejected? or do they still consider you?

oh and does anyone know where i can find the pre-req's required for the majors?

Assist.org you can find the pre-reqs for all the majors

If you dont have all the prereqs, you will still be considered for admission but to be most competitive then you should have them complete. It depends on your major. If your major is impacted then it will hurt you a lot to not complete pre reqs

THIS IS THE ELIGIBILITY FOR UCSD TAG…go to each schools site and you will see each of their requirements

You must meet the definition of a California community college (CCC) student applying for admission with junior status (60 UC transferable semester units or 90 UC transferable quarter units completed by Spring 2009 for Fall 2009 TAG applicants, or Summer 2009 for Winter 2010 TAG applicants):

* Enrolled at one or more CCCs for at least 2 regular terms (excludes summer sessions)
Last college before UCSD admission is a CCC (excludes summer sessions)
Completed at least 30 semester (45 quarter) UC transferable units at a CCC

For Fall 2009 admission, you must earn a cumulative 3.0 minimum UC GPA by the end of Fall term 2008 and maintain a 3.0 GPA through the end of Spring term 2009.
