Question about the app

Sorry if this is a really dumb question, but I just want to make sure!

When you enter your grades, it says

"You must fill in a least one course for each category. If you did not take a class in one of the categories, list "None" as the course and "N/A" for the grade."

Does that mean if I didn't take a Science course freshman year, I still have to put the school I went to, type in None and N/A? I don't know why they would require this, since you could just leave it blank and go on to the next page. Anyone know if this is important at all? My only concern is that it makes my summary look uneven. There are 2 terms for every class and then one random term that is None. Heh

I would follow USC's direction.

You have to do it-answering the question shows that you did not accidentally skip a section of the application. The computer is programmed to make sure applicants do not turn in incomplete applications, which would slow down the process, so each section of the application must be filled out. I do not think you will be able to turn in the application if you do not follow directions.
