Question about the common app

<p>hi, everyone.. i have a question about the common app.
i try to apply to cornell as a transfer student in the fall 2009. they ask for filling the common app. there is a essay part " state the reason why you want to transfer". my question is : is it a general question about why i want to transfer from a 2 year community college to a 4 years university, or i have to specific to the school (cornell) i want to apply??? i am confused....</p>

<p>which application is more important, the common app or the supplemental app.</p>

<p>Well, they are both important, as they are both required, but the Common App is basically your standard cookie cutter application while the Supplement allows Cornell to draw a more personal connection between you and the school, IMO.</p>

<p>Anyways, the question should be answered as applying specifically to Cornell</p>
