tell us about something youve created essay

i know the essay is optional but i was thinking about writing about a powerpoint presentation about the case for hydrogen energy i made when i was a freshmen. it was a standard pwoerpoint , but i sandwhiched it between an intro and a conclution which both of which used music, effects, timing and voice ovvers making the entire thing look like a documentary lol. It required only a little bit of technical acumen but more creativity. my teacher said it was the best thing hes ever seen a student create and every body in class enjoyed it. im not sure whether i should write about it or not cuz it seems like tehy want something tahts more of an invention

I had the same problem when I wrote that essay. I didn't really want to talk about any technical invention that I created, for I have not created anything spectacular. Likewise, I decided to write about a project idea that I created and planned. If you think you can convey something about yourself through it, and feel like you can write it well, I would say go for it. It's optional anyway. But I got deferred, so my advice might not be so good. Maybe an acceptee can provide some better words of wisdom. Either way, good luck!

I saw something and created a prototype. Can I write about it?? I mean I didn't invent it but I created a replica of what I saw(probably a prototype).
Will that be fine??

i wrote about a committee that i created in my school....it does not necessarily have to be a tangible object or an invention...

my guidance counselor recommended that the students be creative with this prompt (i.e. actors create characters/a persona when they perform...) -- think outside the box

I'm writing about my Extended Essay for my IB Diploma assuming I can find a structure for the essay that I like.

Absolutely anything you've created is fair game for that essay -- it does not need to be an invention or anything technical.

I wrote about this pretty cool program (and accompanying documentation) I wrote for my IB Comp Sci Internal Assessment. I also included the program/code/documentation on a CD I sent in.

I wrote about establishing a PC, GPS, WiFi, MP3 playback, Voice recognition and command system, in my father's car.
