I'm applying to Monmouth University, and I noticed that on the website it says to write an essay of 250-500 words. It uses the Common App, though, which allows up to 650 words. I already wrote a good essay that is 650 words, but I didn't enter it in yet. I'm just wondering, does that mean I have to shorten my essay and send this essay to all of my Common App schools, or can I still submit my 650-word essay to the other schools and make another essay that fits the limit for Monmouth? Sorry if this is a bit confusing. Thanks.
