<p>There is a box asking "Why Smith," but its considerably smaller than the box for the "real" essay. My question is, should I write it in "Essay format," or are they looking for a simple list of reasons?</p>
<p>Doesn't matter. They just want to see that you are thoughtful, and articulate, and have done your homework.</p>
