I’m confused about how the UC GPA works. On my high school transcript, it says my UC GPA is 4.045, but when I calculate it with capped requirements, I have a 3.95 GPA. What’s my actual GPA, and what’s the difference between the “capped” GPA and the fully weighted one? What’s the difference between these? I want to get into UCSB but I don’t know what GPA they use to select the applicants.
UCSB uses capped weighted UC GPA which should be your calculated UC GPA of 3.95.
Fully weighted UC GPA is only considered by UCLA/UCB.
