Question about the Writing Section

<p>I usually get around -5 MC, is reading more prep going to help me? I've read through Barron's 2400 grammar guide once. Should I read through Silverturtle's grammar guide as well? Or should I just keep practicing & reviewing answers? I really want to secure the 800 on this section, because I am confident in 770+M, but my CR is a little shaky (~700)</p>

<p>EDIT: I'm surprised that this is around a 680-700 score; just 5 wrong?! Even a 12 essay takes that up to only 730. I'm amazed.</p>

<p>I would say just keep practicing and understand WHY you got the questions wrong by reading the explanation or if there isn’t one then using specific grammar rules to prove why the correct answer is correct.
Personally, just with practice I brought my Writing MC up from -7/8 to -2/3.</p>
