im currently at ucf (university of central florida) and i want to transfer to uf. i was wondering how long it would take for them to let me know whether i got into to the university or not upon submitting my application because i still have to find a lease in orlando if i dont get into uf and the latest i can find a lease is about march or april. like if i submit my uf application on jan. will i know by feb or march?

uf says i need 60 credit hours to transfer, is that 60 credits upon entering uf or upon submitting the application. i dont have 60 credits yet, but if i take summer classes before the semester of entering uf i will have 60

and does uf have a good marketing department?

I can answer number 2: It’s 60 credits upon entering UF. They’ll grant you an acceptance with conditions (if they are going to accept you). Part of the condition would be to graduate with you AA by the time of transferring. And once you get your AA, you will need to resend your CC transcript.

I’m transferring to FSU in January 2010 and this is what I have to do.

Earlier you send in your application, the earlier you should know. I’m pretty sure UF does rolling admissions for transfers. If I were you though, I’d email an admissions officer and let them know that you would be transferring with your AA once accepted.

You cannot transfer into UF for marketing because it is part of their business school. The business school will only take transfers from Florida community colleges.
