<p>So, I enrolled in the Tuition Payment Plan by Sallie Mae and I already paid the required amount for the first three months, but when I checked my student inquiry at bu.edu/studentlink, it showed that I still had a small amount of money due. This probably means that the actual cost was greater than the estimated cost by Sallie Mae’s plan. It’s already past August 5th and the account isn’t completely balanced, so does that mean that I’ll have to pay the late fee of $150? I really thought the tuition payment plan would cover everything, so I didn’t double check before. Is there any way to fix this problem? I’m really worried at the moment and am really in need of assistance.</p>
<p>Call BU in the morning and explain the situation, they will be able to help you. My daughter has a large outside scholarship that is has not been received by BU, so I called last week to see how to handle it. They were very nice and also helpful. I specifically asked about a late fee and they said there would be no late fee if the balance, less the pending scholarship, was paid on time.</p>
