<p>If you enroll at a UC and take classes in a community college. Yes, you will be in a disadvantage since UCs give priority to CC students. Once you enroll in a UC you will no longer be a CC student. </p>
<p>But, I’m still not clear about your question. Could you give details on what are you planning to do?</p>
<p>In order to apply as a TAG student, you are required to fill out two applications: The TAG app and the regular UC app. You can’t decide not to apply for colleges after applying for TAG; applying for TAG is a two-step process. You won’t get your offer for admission until March when the UC has gone over all apps (TAG and non-TAG)</p>
<p>But yes, if you apply for TAG this year and decide not to accept any offer of admission, you are free to apply any year in the future. That said, you’ll be out $60 for each school you apply to.</p>
<p>Also, totaldj, that’s not entirely correct. He can go to a UC and enroll for the fall quarter, then drop out and go back to CC for the spring and apply as a TAG student. The only thing that would preclude him from applying at a CC TAG student in the future is if he took over 30 quarter units (20 semester) at a UC.</p>
<p>Oh sorry, I am currently a CCC student with 30 units and applied for UC tag. So I just wanted to know, if I were to get in through UC TAG to some of the UC’s, but then later I decide to change my mind and not attend those UC’s, would I be to try again for UC TAG a year later (during that year, I would complete a little bit more classes).</p>
<p>Oh, that you can do for sure. I thought you were talking about enrolling into a UC and then wanting to switch. So yea, you can apply later (and TAG) if you aren’t satisfied.</p>
<p>@Chino: Yes, you can do that but you won’t know for sure whether you are admitted to a college until March. You’ll still need to turn in the normal UC app.</p>
<p>Hey guys I have a quick question. I go to RCC which used to have 3 campuses each one became its own campus but is still part of the Riverside Community College District. RCC MVC and NCC are the campuses. I attend MVC and have been prior to the split. On the tag form I just noticed I put summer 2010 as my first and last semester and RCC I put the correct dates. Will this invalidate my TAG agreement?</p>
