question about us history csu requirements

I took APUSH this past school year As an 11th grader and sadly got a D both semesters. I was wondering weather or not i have to retake the class as a senior or if i dont need it to get into a CSU. I asked my counselor but they told me that i might not have to since i took a full year of geography and Also a full year or world history and passed, plus i am taking a semester of honors government and honors economics during my senior year. So im still not sure though if i can suffice my history/social sciences requirement with the classes i already took or if i still need to take us history to be accepted. I have a 3.0 GPA as of now, but i might raise it senior year because i plan on working harder since i want to end my last year in high school with more A's than B's. I'll also be taking more APs next year. Anyways, what do you guys think. Will CSUs accept that as my Fulfilled history requirement? :)

Your GPA is set so working hard now is a little late. You submit your CSU aplication in November before your first semester grades would be ready. You’ll get a conditional acceptance without submitting any further transcripts until you Sr year is complete. If your GPA tanks, and/or you fail a required a-g class, they will revoke your admission.

US History is called out as a specific requirement by CSU.

With a 3.0 and decent SAT, there are still many CSUs open to you. I would suggest you sit down with a CSU admissions counselor and walk through your transcript before commiting to a Sr year schedule. Except for SLO, they all use the same admission criteria so, San Marcos accepts the same courses Humboldt does. (though the threshold varies a LOT by campus).
