So I’m just curious about the whole CSU gpa thing. It says it’s listed as a-g courses taken in 10-11 grade and for some colleges the first semester of 12th too. So appearently history and Econ and gov are a-g but world history isn’t. So does that mean that world history from sophomore year doesn’t count towards gpa. Also what if I’ve taken more than one elective g course, do I get to choose which goes in? I’m so confused.
World History is an a-g course if you check the UC approved courses by HS.

The minimum CSU requirements are listed below in the link which does not state specifically you need World History but it still considered as an a-g course.

Another link for a-g courses. CSU’s use 10-11th grades only for the a-g courses to determine your CSU GPA. Your 9th a-g courses and grades are reviewed to determine if you have met the requirements and 12th grade a-g are listed to determine if you will compete the requirements. Most applicants will not have their Senior year grades available at time of application.
Does this mean physical education goes toward my gpa or is it cut out?
PE, Health classes etc… not a-g courses so not included. If you are a CA resident use the 1st link on post #1 to look up your HS’s applicable a-g courses.
the answer really does vary by HS. You need to look up YOUR HS in the link @gumbymom gave you above, find your courses and see where they apply and which ones are in or out. .
